Frequently asked questions

Everything you want to know about the live preview, audits and plans from ScanLytics.

What does ScanLytics actually do?
ScanLytics helps Shopify and WordPress teams see the biggest SEO opportunities and issues faster. The live preview shows real findings right away. A full audit then scans your public pages more broadly and puts everything into your dashboard with priority and CMS context.
What is the difference between the preview and a full audit?
The preview runs a real but limited live scan on a small sample of your public domain. A full audit then goes deeper, checks more pages and gives you a fuller action list inside your dashboard.
What is the difference between Quick and Deep Audit?
Quick Audit is meant for a compact first scope of roughly up to 25 public pages. Deep Audit goes broader to roughly 200 public pages and is meant for sites where wider coverage matters more.
What sites is ScanLytics built for?
The focus is on Shopify and WordPress. The checks, prioritization and next steps are tailored to those platforms so you do not get a generic report but insight that matches your CMS.
How long does it take before I get something back?
The preview is available immediately on the site. After payment a full audit starts automatically and the results appear in your dashboard once the scan finishes. Total runtime depends on site size and crawl complexity.
What if my site is larger than 200 pages?
Then Deep Audit is usually the starting point. For larger environments we can scale scope or sampling separately.
Can you handle JavaScript-heavy themes or templates?
Only to a limited extent right now. The current audit layer primarily works on public HTML output. For heavier JavaScript sites or extra rendering we will expand scope later.
Can you scan password-protected pages?
Not by default. The standard flow focuses on public pages. If protected environments matter, that needs separate scoping first.
Can I share the audit with my developer or marketer?
Yes. The output is meant to be handed off to the person who will implement the fixes. The current default delivery runs through your dashboard; additional exports are being rolled out in phases.
How do you handle my data?
We primarily work with public pages and the details you submit. We keep data handling restrained and only process what is needed for the scan and delivery.
Are Monitoring and Agency directly available?
No. Quick and Deep can be bought directly online. Monitoring and Agency currently run through contact so scope and rollout can be aligned properly.
Is ScanLytics a ranking guarantee?
No. Nobody can guarantee rankings. What ScanLytics does do is expose the technical and on-page signals you can actually improve.
